leaking 901->510?

Hi there people!
As I've mentioned before, I'm currently using a Riva 901 with LR attys... However when I really need a hit, I plug my adaptor and use a 510LR atty with a drip tip... problem is though, I started noticing that when I do this the "meeting point" of the adaptor and atty licks a bit which is not pleasant at all... is this usual? I only put 2 drops at a time... do you have any tip to "fix" it? o0

Aldo, I'm not sure what you mean by "licking" ? Don't mean to be rude, but do you mean the e-liquid is leaking round the meting point between the adapter & the attie ? If so, it could be due to you over filling your cartridge or dripping too much into your attie

ahahah ! sorry xD I confused licking with leaking ! bound to happen !
that's it, exactly ! I thought it could be from dripping too much but I only put 2 drops ! maybe I'm refilling it too often then will try again and post back !

Aldo, your command of English is amazing, so please never feel the need to apologise for choosing the wrong word - I do it all the time & English is my first language so I have no excuse

I've never got on with 510's so hoping others can help you with them

Aldo, I have the same problem with my 510 eGo, when I use cartridges with it. I just started dripping, so I can't comment on it with a drip tip.

This is all still fairly new technology, so maybe it's just the way it is with the 510.

I am pretty much covered in e liquid from morning to night regardless of what system I use. I am just that messy.

probably since she was the one that talked me into buying a 901 instead of waiting for a 510 to be in stock again !
I think the 901 are an all-around better experience, and as I said I only use the 510LR with the drip tip when I really need a hit (in the morning, after the coffee and when driving to work)
Sooo, this is not a big problem for me anyway, I was just curious !

I wouldn't have a problem saying it at all ! After all this is a forum where things are discussed ! If i didn't feel comfortable enough to state my own opinion I would have long departed !
