Just dropped my VAMO!!!

and it bounced a little...

I was doing so well, no scratches, it was still looking like new.
I was thinking to myself how I never drop things, and I often read about people dropping their mods, not me I thought..

We it was my own fault, the daughter had switched on the main light as she was painting, and I in a mad way, as I had only just switched it off 5 min before went to switch it off again, but I had my vamo in my hand and it sliped right out onto the concret tiled floor.

It had nicely scratched the battery cap but apart from that I can't see any more damage. I had my Vivi nova on it too, but that's just fine.

I've also tested it all out and it still vapes well.
So glad I have another one on the way as a back up, I would be lost without it now if it broke down...

I feel for you VM! Like P Busardo says "They are a Scuff Magnet, a scratch Magnet and a Fingerprint Magnet!".
Good excuse to order a third one so you can use this one as an "Emergency" back up, as opposed to the Normal Back up.

I will be ordering my 3rd once the stainless steel one if out on vapour break
great tool this is....in the New Year I may also get another black Chrome as my 4th back up

thats interesting to hear about your dropsy, glad it survived. my batteries are in the charger, my other set are in need of charging so i'm using my ego passthrough, their good but you can bet the vamo.

I'm also glad to hear your Vamo survived being dropped as I'm so used to not worrying if I drop my GGTS - that would do more damage to the floor than the GG

yea the build quality looks nice of the vamo, good to hear it survived a fall, they do extra battery caps at hc, probably other places too, quite cheap.
Looks alot better than pics of it somehow
I thnk its double the weight of the lt when both have 18650 batteries!

I saw the bat caps on HC but no black chrome in stock, also they only do ems so I don't use them.

The floor is ok, I don't get why it didn't damage the vamo more really, i will be more carful from now on.

At the end of the day it could have been a lot worse than it was.
It could have been a lot more expensive mod dropping on the floor,

hehe true, as long as it protects the battery from damage too, should b good. They should sell the battery sleeves separately also, was surprised the bit under the screen doesnt screw off, doesnt make a big difference tho, just maybe makes cleaning the connector easier.

The section under the screen can be removed its just a push fit. The vamo in 18650 is in 5 seperate parts. Top cap, screen housing tube, upper battery tube, lower battery tube and the end cap. The only bits that are screw fit is the lower battery tube and the battery end cap, the rest is push/interference fit.
