the same as above realy when i started to vape i was vaping green leaves, from eliquidlabs at 1st it was a replacement as i smoked role ups for aprox 35 yrs it gave me that tobacco taste and i liked it, but now i hate it.
and this is my problem i can't find a nice flavour to replace it

It's true everyone is different. My hubby not only dislikes the smell of what I vape. He also insists he can't taste it.
His to me smells repugnant and I can barely taste it.

There's no rhyme or reason for this because we both smoked bogstandard fags and the weird thing is we neither vape straight baccy flavours ???

I do sometimes think we "over expect" flavours when we see them.Its damn hard to make a particular flavour into a juice that vapes without being totally vile.

Sorry to hear your thinking of smoking again mate.The perfect anything doesn't exist--there is no magic pill,potion or juice to stop anyone smoking.First and foremost we are all dealing with an addiction not a small addiction but a 24/7 one.My take on it was get tobacco juices 30-36mg (because i smoked 50plus a day)and like us all smoked tobacco.Do I think its lush and scrummy--no I don't.Does it stop me smoking--yes it does.So for me thats job done.I don't have to like it--i'm fighting an addiction!! the vaping fairy godmother with her magic juice doesn't exist.Yes some of the flavours are great--for a playaround, but I know I would soon get sick of them.If you ate your favorite food every night for a week it would soon not be your favorite.But we all smoked tobacco and mainly the same brand--there is no custard or choccy dip dip cigs.So you give up tonight and go back to your old brand of cigs you will be tasteing the same old same old.Maybe try a different mindset it might just work.

No matter how insipid or crap a juice tastes, I don't understand how it could possibly compare with the crappy taste of fags.

I've been mixing my own for about three months and I'm still rubbish at it, and have yet to mix a juice which I've thought is great.

Some are quite nice, others aren't, but there's no way that a poor juice will send me back to the fags.

I never smoked for the great taste, I smoked for the nicotine.

And because it made me look cool.

I think I agree with one of Mev's posts. I vape for the nicotine, the flavour is an added bonus. If I couldn't find one I liked I'd try unflavoured. Better no taste than a taste I hate!

I was just like you buddy, used to be mad for LnB at 50/50 and vaped the hell out of it.
But my taste buds soon came back to life and the juice was vile. Would find another juice and found the taste would go away after a few days.
Try this out before you give up, Buy a big 1.5lL bottle of water and give yur body a good fill of it for a day then try vaping again. Vaping can dehydrate the hell out of you without you noticing and that can mess up your taste buds in a bad way. Am now vaping on GVC like a steam train and have to keep a big bottle of water with me at all times.. Give it a try you have nothing to lose

One person's nectar is another person's dogshit, the same as with food, and the only way to find out is by trying them out.

As you've discovered, reviews are worth nothing if the reviewer doesn't have the same taste as you, and no two people have the same tastes, so that leaves you with two options, one being to carry on trying different juices and the other is to return to the old faithfuls and their countless associated evils.

Some people are lucky in that they can find their nectar after only a few juices while others, myself included, are still searching for their idyll.

Nobody but you can make the decision as to whether you want to carry on searching or return to the fags, but one of those makes a lot more sense to me than the other.

And vaping makes me look a lot cooler than smoking ever did.

Variety is the key My main vape is a vivi nova + ego twist and it gets plenty a toot I can tell you. However at work today I was in a spot where I couldn't really drag out the 'novelty crack pipe' as my mate calls it (taken from Mike Strutter) so instead, went off for a crafty drag on a little ciggy lookalike, which had been stuck in my jacket pocket in case the ego battery failed. Well, the throat hit from that was ridiculously good! I ended up toking it in the car going home before going back to the ego/vivi, which I'm enjoying now. It's more ... I dunno, like a pipe smoke where the jacvapour was a insta-hit. However the change from ego to jacvapour, and then back to ego, was full of pleasure for both. So don't languish with one vaping kit, mix and match em! That's why I reckon we love the various juices, switching between em is part of the fun of the hobby. Toot toot!

Ever thought of mixing your own liquids, I do and as Moon says we may not always make great juices every time but because I've made it it seems to taste better than it probably is, and even if it's not that good if you're stubborn like me you'll vape it anyway. Dave

Took me 3 - 4 months to find an all day vape.

Tried lots of flavours and whilst I liked some and loathed others, there was none I could turn to and KNOW it would just do the job. Just sit back, whiffle, and forget about it.

I thought I was looking for WOW flavour. And yes, I found some, and they are nice occassionally, for me.

Tried Health Cabin RY4 and found that did the job. I like the flavour (ie. there is nothing I dislike about it) but find it subtle enough not to get sick of it.

So for me the key was to find one that I liked but didn't overwhelm me. Some other flavours I love get just too much after a few hours.

Also it's true tastes change - hated fruit ones at first, enjoying them now. And I like home made menthol at the mo, where I really hated it at first. Tried it again few weeks back when I had a cold and keep adding it to juices am not keen on just now.

I agree, it takes a while to find a stock of "basics" you can rely on to do what's needed for you.
