I have my ( remaining ) teeth cleaned/descaled every 3 months, the vast amounts of coffee ( decaff ) I now drink are the culprit . . . preferable though to the staining I got from smoking 40/50 cigarettes a day.
Teeth whitening will only work on your natural tooth surface as far as I'm aware, so if you've any crowns/bridges/white fillings . . . . they won't respond to the whitening treatment.

The only thing i have is a couple of fillings in my molars at the back of my mouth so i am not bothered about them. A dentist once told my mother that i had teeth so strong it would be my gums that gave up long before my teeth did. He was right as all my teeth are still going strong apart from one that was removed because of an abcess years ago.
