Can't see there would be any advantage really for small quantities unless you had extremely accurate scales, which are a bit pricey. I'd say using drops from a decent, consistent dropper bottle would probably be a bit better, mainly because you can be more certain you're getting the proportions right. tbh though, I'll be trying the syringe method first as well since I'm just mixing for myself. Will see how it goes

If you'd rather use drop measures, which I do, rather than messing up a pipette/syringe for a teeny amount of flavouring . . . drip say 30 drops from your chosen bottle(s) into a small dish of some sort, then draw that back up into a syringe to see how many ml's, that number of drops actually measures.
Then you're pretty much set if you stick with the same type of dropper bottle . . . it depends as well, on how finickty you are as a home mixer, I'm not especially, so a drop or two over or under on the majority of flavours I use, make very little difference to my end results.
I'm all for making it as straightforward as possible . . . .

If I have my recipe saved on my ipad I use scales every time, not just for consistency but to save my syringes

I am also a dropper like perps,i use the same type dropper for all mixing but with the odd miscount or so ,ive not really noticed any dire results and as its done for my tastes ,i may add a few other drops over steeping until i like it ,however i do keep notes so i can repeat a good one fairly closely

Yes that's something I'd def want to remember to do - would be a bit of a bummer if you came up with your very own vape from heaven, then couldn't remember exactly what was in it :-[

I'm utterly hopeless at writing my recipes down Smudge. I'll jot down the original amounts used, but if I do any tweaking . . . then forget it. I made 2 new flavours up a couple of weeks ago, a Coffee and a Toffee brew, a few weeks on/some tweaks . . . they're quite pleasant. Haven't a clue what I did now.

Oh no Can see me being similar though if I'm not careful, I'll very neatly write down what I do for the initial mix, then forget to add notes for any fiddling about.
