Multi mod & cyclops

Nothing to do with selling the mods but i have to agree with Ian.
I love the provari though with what it can do and how it performs.

Just wish the cyclops would have performed better....lol

What happened with the Cyclopse mate?I do love the Provari for its variability and easy use,i would NEVER part with it.I just know that the multi mod is giving me more than 3.7v as you can tell these things with having the Provari.To get the same vape as the multi mod on the Provari i have to set the Provari to 3.9v.It doesnt sound alot of difference but 3.9v is a way better vape than 3.7v IMO.Bottom line is that the multi mod smashes anything else at 3.7v,its in a league of its own.I will never part with this one EVER either.Well worth the money and more if you ask me.

THE CYCLOPS.
I wanted to get people the best i could and got the modder to make changes and make the mk2. I wanted a different button too but that was not possible in the time before i cam on hols.
The guy arrived at 00:30 the day before i left with the cyclops and did his best to please. I tried batteries in them all and expect he did too but never tried any atties (unfortunately). It seems that when you attach the atty there is some type of short and either it doesnt work properly or works automatically.
I did try and the modder feels like crap too. I guess it's a good lesson learned for the future and no harm done i hope. I have refunded everyone and apoligise for the fuss.
Not sure at this point whether to get a new one 100% tested and tried and offer again or move on to the next model.

I'll keep the forum posted with this and other new developments

Once you're happy with it Graeme, I'd offer the Cyclops again as long as it really hasn't put you off. I know I was disappoionted that mine was a problem one, but it hasn't put me off future versions and certainly hasn't put me off trading with you (as you know - with a second Multi Mod on order!). A fully working Cyclops would be a great value for money 18650 vaper.

You tried your best to give a great deal and this time (with the Cyclops) it didn't come off... that's life.

So, as well as offering future Cyclops, I'm eagerly awaiting your next offering! I'd like a Lazy Boy chair with a 901 fitting and dancing girls please!

lol @ Graeme and Sean,so funny.Its a shame about the Cyclopse mate, but not your fault.You have refunded folks, so thats more than fair.Life is full of lessons, and atleast you will know for next time to test them even further.I bet its peed you off though mate?and i would have loved to hear the colourful language you gave the Thai modder?
I also would like to order another one of the multi mods whenever its possible.I will let you enjoy the great sights of the beautiful UK before pestering you about mods again though mate Hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday Graeme.

i had to resolder 1 of the wires in my 2nd cyclops but its working fine now and im even using it to vape at 5v using mojos 18650 5v batts which is making me rather kipper at the minute 8)

Nice one Camper,sounds great.Oh well,atleast i know where to send my multimod when the battery eventually does die. ;)If you can change them mate i will pay you for your services.Would any 18650 battery do?or is it a special battery that cant be purchased again? ??? I wouldnt even dare to open mine up to see

you can use any 18650 in their ian, i had mine in bits the first day it turned up weeks ago lmao

I've got my Thai Fistpack (TFP) up and running Excellent!

A quibble - when it's plugged in as a passthru I find the button too close to the mini-USB input, so I shan't use it for passthru but it's great dangling around my neck on a lanyard.

However, the button itself is no problem whatsoever, lovely and easy to operate with no hurty pressure on sensitive fingies

Please can we have a video (or series of stills) how-to for disassembling and replacing the battery in the TFP? One day eventually?

Nice one Scylla,that is a good suggestion.I think Camper mentioned somat about soldering in the new battery though,so thats me out I bet Sean or Camper would help me out if the price is rite Seriously,i draw the line at opening up a mod like this,would hate to bugger it up.Anyway,i will cross that bridge when i come to it.A how to video is a great idea though Scylla.I am loving this mod,my battery is still going and on 2 lights Ive been using it very heavily since getting it and its still going strong.I think there is a magic solar powered battery inside that refuses to lose charge Nice one for telling me that Camper,ive got loads of 18650s,now just need a kind modder on emergency standby

This is the VV version but the principle is basically the same. Geoff and I have already had ours apart for a nosey inside.
