Just wondering if it is possible to cleanone of the above? Been using one for 2-3 weeks and today it's starting to taste slightly burnt/funny. Quite happy to just throw it away as there only a couple of quid, even better if I can still get another week or so out of it tho. Thanks for any help/suggestions offered.

There is a video on you tube with a very s.l..o...w.... lady showing how it's done.
I like her, but people find her spoooooky.....
Basically, there's a 99% chance your CE4 is totally useable after a "dry burn".

I'm going to watch it..zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz and see if there's anything dodgy she's recommending

Oh, b.t.w. Kirrie.
If you get a CE5 (Vision V3) clearo that comes apart, you can chuck it in a sink of hot water, take it apart, dry it up (in pieces still, easiest to use kitchen roll) stick the inner section on your battery with the plastic tip pulled off, blast it a few times, put it back together and re-fill, all in about 2 minutes. As it's in pieces you can take apart, all the "leave overnight to dry" business is a thing of the past. Anything needing drying can be done with kitchen towel and the wick self-dries as you dry burn.

Thanks for the help and link djs I have a couple of the V3's but they seem to leak with me, maybe the vendor I got them off isn't the best, there not on this forum. It's kinda put me off them abit tbh. Time to finish this clearo of juice n see what I can do. Thanks again.

It's kinda put me off them abit tbh. Time to finish this clearo of juice n see what I can do. Thanks again. V3s on the whole do not leak. But the reality is, doesn't matter how good these things are, soon enough something gets a bit out of place and....a leak.... I've been messing with a genuine Vision V3 for a few days trying to get the centre post exactly straight. I did it more by luck than judgement in the end. Mostly, I run the hot tap, flush out the end of the liquid, put the plug in once warm/hot and take the thing apart in water. Pull out all the bits, maybe soak the wick-head-centre post for a while, dry everything, check the coil for need of a dry-burn, do that and all set to go. Takes 3 minutes tops. That's why although I use Kanger T3s (and find them good) they are a PITA as you have to find a pair of pliers (I have some by the sink) to pull out the section to get to the wick. V3s (CE5s) and Novas win every time. I'm going to write a "shoot-out" on the review section some time. If you're just changing heads (£2.49), the T3 is great. If, like me, and you get annoyed with even a slightly gunked up head and don't want to spend £2.49 every other day, they are a pain.

Biggest problem I have found with the CE4's and 5's is if you keep them in a trouser pocket it always knocks the resovoir out of line and causes it to leak, not the first time I've had a pocket full of juice!!!
Best to keep them tip up in a shirt pocket

I bought some vision 3 heads and they don't fit the CE5. Is there a trick to it.

I bought some vision 3 heads and they don't fit the CE5. Is there a trick to it. Not sure if this will help found it on a site that sells them How to change the atomizer head on eGo CE5 Clearomizer: 1. Remove the drip tip from the CE5 clearomizer 2. Unscrew the base from the bottom of the clearomizer tube 3. Unscrew the replaceable atomizer head from the top of the base assembly and replace with a new atomizer head 4. Screw the base assembly back into the tube 5. Fill with 1.6ml E-Juice by tilting the clearomizer at a slight angle and dripping juice down the inside wall against the outer wall of clearomizer. 6. Do not put eliquid into the center tube as it will leak out the bottom of clearomizer. 7. Screw the tip back in clearomizer. 8. Please allow 1-2 minutes for the E-Juice to feed into the coil before you start to vaping. 9. Screw onto electronic cigarette device and you're ready to vape.

Thanks Stewarty, that's really kind of you Unfortunately, they appear to be the wrong size, the vision base was too short and the top part where the wick slides in was too tall for the CE5
