New postage rules coming into force

Currently coming into force on international post only.

The list contains 'poisons, toxic liquid, solids and gasses' - (including substances that are laible to cause death or injury if swallowed of inhaled or by skin contact) This may eventually cause some issues with the postage of eliquid!

This comes into force for international postage on the 14th January. I had 20,000 questions about the parcel I posted today and it looks as though it's going to get worse! :-[

They're already banned, I checked it out a while ago, so perhaps best if we just keep quiet!!!

From the current table.... Poisonous (toxic) and infectious substances Substances that are liable to cause death or injury if swallowed or inhaled, or by skin contact. All toxic substances are prohibited. E.g. arsenic, beryllium, cyanide, fluorine, hydrogen selenide, infectious substances containing micro-organisms or their toxins which are known to cause (or are suspected of causing) disease, mercury, mercury salts, mustard gas, Nitrobenzene, nitrogen dioxide, pesticides, rat poison, serum and vaccines.

Question is, would nicotine be classed amongst these poisons, if so, they're already banned, if not, they wont be banned on the 14th either!

It shouldn't be, at least, not at the strengths we use it. We can't be in possession of nicotine at more than 7.5% strength without a poisons licence - so therefore surely 7.5% and below is not classed as a poison.

I'm sure someone will be along shortly to correct me if I'm wrong, but I REALLY hope I'm not...

I think it's more the questions now when you go to post something, it was a bit like the Spainish inquisition today LOL!
