Can you fix my poll?

I've boo boo'd and I've put a poll on the quiz thread in members only but would like the poll to lock on Sunday night at 11 but didn't tell it that can someone fix it or tell me how to fix it? Thanks Katie

I think if you edit your post and it should give you the option to edit your poll too..

Sorry Pixi, due to the nature of polls - ie no one can mess with them in any way, even I can't edit/amend any poll once it is set up.

The only thing I can suggest is going back into your opening post via "modify" & see if it will allow you to make any changes to the time it ends.

Katie, do you see the option "lock poll" if so you can manually lock it at 11pm on Sunday night

Nope that's just what ive been looking for no options at all

OK, for security reasons I do have the ability to lock a poll. So if you can remind me nearer the time. I'm more than happy to do so - just can't guarantee it will be at the exact time you would like it locked.

The only other alternative is for you to start a new poll & either I or the moderators can move all the posts on the quiz thread to your new poll thread. However, any votes cast so far can not be moved to the new poll.

I'll ask you to lock it if that's ok Chrissie I'll look at 11 then I have time to change the quiz ready for Monday morning if it's not locked then tough I've told everyone. I'll put a little disclaimer saying when lines are closed not to vote as its still chargeable

It would also be a good idea to edit your OP to say when it will be locked

Will do! When I added it to the thread I didn't realise it would change the thread to a poll so the first post doesn't say what's polls about!

Some members cant see the poll?? I've written up the choices in the op so anyone who can't see it can still vote via pm to me. I'm never doing a poll again if I can F it up this badly!

It looks like Womble was looking in the wrong place for the poll & can see it now? Has anyone else said they can't see it?

And just to doubly check with you Pixi, the lock thread option should be to the right of the "submit vote" button, can you confirm it's not there for you?

Yep it's deffinately not there. Yea Womble was confused ops. I've taken a screen shot if you want to see what I see.
