I'm with virgin and the last couple of bills have been 82 quid ish, so was thinking it's a bit high, my basic package is 75 including line rental, that's for 50 meg bb, xl tv, and free calls any time, there were about 6-7 quid of extra phone charges per month to take it to the 82, so was on virgins site and they have some new deals out, the top one all inclusive is 114 quid, that includes sky sports and movies + extra hd box, well to cut a long story short I'm getting an extra box upstairs staying on the same tv and phone package and saving 10 pound a month as well, and only a one year contract as opposed to the 18 months it usually is, so a basic 65 pound a month, if i didn't have the any time calls the lady i spoke to said it would cost me 20-30 pound more just for phone calls, women eh and up from 50-60 gig next wed + new bb hub thingy and new tivo boxes, not bad for a phone call. It could be cheaper but when i said to the mrs about going down a level with the tv i got, but that doesn't have this channel and this channel, and the new series of so and so is starting next week/month, anyhow more for less has got to be better

I have sky and am paying £70ish a month get all channels HD and movies not sports though. Line rental broadband and free evening weekend calls looked to swap to virgin when we moved but we'd loose channels and unlimited net and free calls for more money. Im thinking of investing in a 2nd hand box and having sky in the bedroom too so not having to pay for multi room.

I pay 17.50 a month for TV, BB, and Telephone, with 500 mobile minutes, and unlimited free landline calls, for the TV I have freesat+, so can get many free channels with the ability to record, in addition, I have an HDMI lead from my PC to my main TV, so I can watch ANY channel I want over the internet The broadband is only 19mb, (would cost me an extra £15 per month to upgrade to 76mb, they can jog on, lol) and as already stated I basically never have to pay extra for a phone call, even mobiles. All for about £17.50 a month, think I'll carry on as I am

It was a similar package to this, but mine included 12 months half price (on a 12 month contract ) and the other whistles and bells... Not sure if you get the free calls or 500 mobile minutes on the package above though. The TV is freesat, so you just buy a box and plug it into your satellite.

I looked at sky pixi and i think it would be slightly cheaper but the downsides are crap tv picture when the weather's bad, which nowaday's is all the time and cos of where i live the best bb speed i'd get would be 8 meg, now the last time we got bb through the phone line we were getting 2 to 4 meg at best, and it took donkeys to download a film, so untill they improve the phone lines here i'm with cable
