..of my friend's Vivi Nova.
It was the bottom of the base, if that makes sense, not a screw fitting part. Seemed more like a push fitting bit.
I managed to hold the bottom plate in place and hit it with a hammer. (a pair of heavy nut crackers actually) and I was very even handed with the hitting.
Have no idea if it's going to be leak free now. Wondered about applying a bit of superglue but am concerned about the possibility of vaping glue fumes...
Any thoughts?

Once dry super glue should be fine as far as I know.
Just leave it an hour to be super safe and it should no longer be giving off any fumes. I used to use it to seal CE2 tanks to the CE2's and had no problems - unless I tried to use it before it had fully set.

my Vision Mini Nova did exactly that! hence why I don't use Vision Vivi / Mini / CE's any more. The vaperstall.com ones are much better quality.
