talking of floyd,anyone know where i can get the original uncut version of the film ? i lost mine in the late nineties and the dvd's since have been doctored about,unless its my memory lol. comfortably numb was brilliant in that and bob played the part quite well

I had it on vhs once upon a time ... but I can't find it and the wife swears she didn't tape corrie over it like she did with live at pompei

My first husband used to put that whole album on every night when we went to bed. I used to fall asleep listening to it, of course until it got to the track bit where those bloody alarm bells went off!! >

lol, dark side of moon was a classic ,but the wall,that was just cult,thinking about it,mine was on vhs,and my wife hated the film(cause i use to fall asleep with it blairing out) so maybe east enders is to blame!
alas i would dearly like the uncut version again.

I will NEVER get bored of listening to this!

Some time when it's not so late and I've had a few drinks I might bore you with tales of singing this with a tribute band. Listening to the music can now make me even more emotional than it did before I sang it.

Wish You Were Here is the one that really gets me. When all the harmonies kick in towards the end it just makes my heart soar. Wonderful.
