6 month review

Well here we are, 6 months into vaping and at last I am getting to grips with what I need and where I want to go from here.

Much of the equipment, e-cigs, clearos etc, that I bought in the beginning are still on the go albeit that some of the clearos have new heads as I am not yet into re-wicking these, but I will learn someday.

Because of the uncertainty of future government legislation, I have taken some steps to secure my future vaping needs and now have enough e-juice chemicals stashed away to see me through the next 4 years. That will rise to 6 years over the coming months.

So costs;-
Well in 6 months I have spent a total of £1411.06.
This is all the e-juice, chemicals, PVs, Attys, Rebuildables, everything that I have purchased to do with vaping and securing my future vaping needs.

I still have, unused in stock, £753.36.

So 6 months of vaping has cost, in total;- £657.70.

Against that and by not buying cigarettes, I have saved;- £2,467.92.
This puts another £1810.22 into the bank for a few luxuries that would have been inconceivable 6 months ago.

And the future?
Well apart from flavours to try out along with the ones I make at the moment and enjoy, that is all I will be buying e-juice wise.
Shineys! Well yes, if something takes my fancy, but I do have plenty for now, so anything else will need to have that “must have” appeal.
Materially I have everything I need to be getting on with and all I really lack is knowledge
So less spending and more studying is on the cards.

May I take this opportunity to thank everyone at AAE-C for the help, advice and encouragement that they have given me since I joined here.
I have no doubt that I would still be vaping if I hadn’t joined, but in joining, the last 6 months have been so much more enjoyable.

4 months for me now and although I've a litre of nic base I really need to start to stockpile a bit more just incase , better safe than sorry

Well it will never go to waste.

Like having money in the bank.
Pity it is in the freezer or I would be taking mine out and cuddling it every night.

At the moment, 15 X 100ml of 75mg. (500ml VG & 1000ml PG).
I intend to buy another litre.

My thoughts are that should nic base be banned, that ban will not be permanent. There will be such a hue and cry that eventually the ban will be lifted.

So, if I can put an amount away that will get me through any such temporary hiccup, then I will be content.
If however such a ban is permanent, then I have 5 or 6 years to reappraise my attitude towards vaping and perhaps find some way around this ban.

Vaping has saved my life (or at least prolonged it) and I have saved so much money by not buying fags that I would be very foolish indeed if I did not invest some of that money in continuing vaping for as long as possible.

The nic base is the weak link without doubt , the mods/atomisers and other vaping related paraphernalia can't realistically be banned or regulated ........I'm expecting a full on ban on nicotine concentrate within the next 3 yrs from what I've read
The time will come when to get your fix of vanilla custard 24mg you'll be meeting some shady character down a dark alley handing over a fistfull of banknote then scuttling back home for a vape

It is indeed worrying this nic ban if it does come into force............. I'm getting my act together and stocking up on the nic, luckily I'm on quite a low nic strength so if I plan it right and buy the liquid nic, say 100ml every other month I'll manage to get plenty in before any such ban comes into force!!
