ce5's have coils much the same as vivi novas you can also replace the heads if you don't want to recoil

They do have coils, this is what heats the juice to produce vapour. The wick is to transport the juice to the coil where it is vapourised.
The link you posted is a pack of heads, which include wick and coil assembly. The coil is hidden inside the metal part, you can't see it from the outside.
This video from Todd will give you an idea of how the heads are constructed, it is for a vivi nova but the CE5's are the same construction although the heads are not interchangeable.

This sounds more complicated than i thought,i meant the little piece of fabric that hangs over the sides of the clearo,it goes black in the middle and i thought i could replace that instead of the whole coil unit. The bit thats gone black in the middle is the coil, which is the reason you can't see it because it's been covered in gunk. It's ok watching the vids but everything looks huge when in reality the coil is only going to be 3/4mm wide. Yes . . . if you hold the wick to the side of the new head and gently take off the silicon cap you'll be able to see the nice new shiny coil wrapped around the wick.

Just tried that on the Innokin CE5 dual coil, Then tried again after watching the FULL video and making a complete balls of it. Was hoping to be able to re-thread the wick in the original coil. With my fat sausagy fingers, think I'll have to just buy the spare heads complete. haha

Rather just screw on a new head lol. Sent from my Galaxy Note 2
