If it was a one off piece of hand made loveliness that you'd never be able to replace I'd say no, but with the amount of new stuff coming out on a regular basis I'm with Super-Shiny, if you're not using it get rid to fund something else.

And here's one to make your bloods curdle .... First time I went to the far east with my wife, we were at her family's house under the mosquito net (and there's another one I'll come back to) ... I was fast asleep, woke up hearing this sort of buzzy noise, said to my wife "what is that"and she said "I don't know". Turned the light on ..... A bloody FLYING COCKROACH!! I mean the crawly ones are bad enough, but giving them wings? Oh come onnnnnnnnnnnnn & luckily you didn't stop to get a picture of it . . . . thank gawd for that (I'm not coming back to this thread in case the last statement was too much of a temptation for you to go away & find a picture)

Ohhh, just thinking about hairy bodied moths makes my toes curl, I hate them, I've stopped parking my car under the streetlight outside in the summer for that very reason, having to run the gauntlet of great big stupid flapping things was creating huge entertainment for my neighbours and kids when I screamed and hurtled my way into the house as something sailed past my ear, but it was doing nowt for my blood pressure. Wasps I also detest but I automatically assume the 'stand as stiff as a plank' position in the hope they'll get bored and go away. I often wondered why I could hear something having a meal out of my garden fence..now I know why, that really isn't going to help my phobia much. I'm really looking forward to summer.... Yep you can always tell when they've been at a fence, or any outdoor wood, little stripes of clean wood about 1/4inch wide & 3 inches long that look like they've been done by a gnome with hiccups, but they don't like creosote flavoured wood

Ricky Gervais I'll have to get a vid of the cats eating daddy long legs, a little ball of spit with legs sticking out & moths used to have a thing about them too, think it had something to do with an old horror story about someone turning into a giant moth & sucking the life out of people, but I watched a prog about them & apparently they're genetically identical to butterflies only one comes out in the day & one at night & they also have some amazing colours & patterns you just need ultra-violet vision to see them. Been a lot more tolerant about them since then I don't mind the little moths, it's the big ones with hairy bodies The ones that'd prickle you while they were sucking the life out of you making fun out other peoples phobias isn't nice which is why I never tell anyone about mine

Can anyone answer a simple question here - why do wasps exist? We have this conversation in my family every year, and still don't have a plausible answer! Bees pollinate, flys eat dead matter, and nearly every other insect lives on this planet for a good reason; but wasps!? This is my worst nightmare; I know, I'm a wimp, but come autumn they are everywhere in Cornwall, and I hate them. I'll quite happily leave a room to them I'm totally with you on Daddy Longlegs chykensa Those and moths! For gods sake people WTF is wrong with you, are links not good enough, gonna have to have a word with Chrissie about folkies posting piccies of giant crawly insects & that includes blerdy great 'pet' spiders . . . . coming on the forum for a quick mooch while I have a sarnie to be confronted by giant hornets, I'm telling yous seriously someone was very near responsible for picking bits of melted cheese & chicken out of me keyboard Seriously, don't particularly like wasps, but what I really don't like about is when I see them scarping wood of the fence in the back garden meaning they're making a nest somewhere, usually only somewhere the cats can get to. Don't mind bees cos they will usually only sting as a last resort & they don't tend to chase you, but in my garden the last resort is usually after they been playfully swatted a few times by a bored cat. It's always fun in spring trying to save lethargic bumble-bees, specially from 'sweetie' cat who will try & eat them after she's grounded them, picture me chasing said cat round the garden shouting spit it out, spit it out, fortunately their hairs are quite prickly so she tends to quite quickly (but she has swallowed a couple whole - she inhales cat treaties so she has a knack) but I'm sure it's only a matter of time & does anyone know of a good way to clean cat slobber off bumble-bees, poor things

I'm sure I've read that the vaping side of things is a very small part of a large operation; I believe they supply wire in thousands of metres at a time, so 25m on a small spool is indeed small beer. No excuses for their shoddy customer service, but they could survive quite nicely without our trade, although they are making a real go of vaping supplies on their websites. The original company is the mesh company, only supplying mesh & I think the A4 sheets we used to get were actually sample sheets. Then some bright spark discovered what it was being used for & obviously decided to bundle in the wire, & once they'd got the wire crafting & beading followed next, but yeah I think the bulk of their business is still the mesh for industrial sale.
