Hi I've been using the Ego-C for quite some time now, and after dropping one on the floor and killing it I ordered a new one recently and my vape tastes awful, like it usually would if it hadn't been cleaned for ages and as if it's on empty (sort of burnt tasting)
I use rebuildable visions, 2.4ohm and always have done.
I haven't changed juice, and I've tried using totally different cartos on the battery and i get the same problem. I use these cartos on my other battery and the taste is fine.
Can someone please offer any advice? I'm not sure how/why it does this

Sounds like you've got it turned up higher than it should be cambermam - try twisting the dial on the base clockwise and see how it tastes then.
ETA = if you can't turn it any further clockwise and it still tastes bad, contact the vendor and DON'T USE IT OR CHARGE IT - you may have a duff PCB in it making it push out more volts than it should.

Mine doesn't have the twist dial it has 2 settings, one with orange light and one with white/blue and I've been using the white/blue one for months and months with no probs until now

Hmmm, I don't recognise that one, both my Ego Cs are Twists... maybe someone will be along in a mo who knows more than I do. But don't charge it til you know what's up with it, if it's got a faulty PCB you don't want to be mucking about with it.
Edited for speeling

Sounds like the battery is pushing out a lot more than 3.3v, It's not regulating the output. It may be stuck in it's orange setting regardless of the led colour and pushing out full power. Have a chat with the vendor
