They may well come a cropper if some 0mg nicotine vapers challenge their reasons for outright bans

hey hey all was reading the forum here and did a quick look into this subject as i enjoy the e-smoke myself and am Canadian its not that they are out right banning the e-cig in Canada they are stopping its sales till it can be looked at and investigated to make sure it is safe for the consumers. anyone that is interested in seeking market authorisation for electronic smoking products may contact Health Canada's Therapeutic Products Directorate for information about the drug submission process at: SIPDMail@hc-sc.gc.ca. its coincided a new drug as they put it and like all new drugs it has to be tested you can read the same thing I did right from HC at www.hc-sc.gc.ca/dhp-mps/prodpharma/applic-demande/pol/notice_avis_e-cig-eng.php so its not an out right ban it just needs someone to take the first steps in sponsoring it so then the Canadian government can tax the hell out of it. and on another not i just imported from china 8 kits and over 300 refills and had no problems only thing i was basically charged for on delivery was the Cell phone's 2 batteries (environmental tax) $20 Canadian so i really don't think they really care if you import them but to sell them they frown on. anyways happy Vaporing Jim

I hope both the government and the e-cig smoking community will be open-minded about each other's perspectives. The government is just looking out for the safety and health of consumers. They should also make proactive efforts in studying and exploring the advantages of e-cig use, so ultimately smokers who want to quit tobacco smoking for good can benefit from e-cig as a potential way of kicking the tobacco habit.
