Welcome to the forum Kirstickle that is the exact same kit i started with and it did the same thing with me made me cough until I nearly threw up, So much so that I almost gave up on ecigs and stayed on the cigs. But as stated earlier you can refill the carts so dont throw them away, Also as previously stated they are a 510 connection so what I did was bought a clearo and some juice and used the skycig batteries until I could get a better one, but they dont last long so make sure your case is charged.

I started on E-Lites and had no problems at all.

(that could be because they barely produce any vapour!)

My missus cannot puff on e-cigs at all. PG vs. VG - it makes no difference. If you want to try some 100% VG get hold of a small bottle or see if someone can post you a tester.

Basically, you will get used to it (like you probably did with fags) but until then, don't inhale. Practice this for a while until you get the hang of it. Think like a pipe or cigar smoker.....

think mine is 70/30 but as said dont inhale or keep it in your mouth for a couple of seconds before inhaling, But them carts are not nice to smoke at all very harsh I found.

just thought actually did you get 5 carts with yours? if you did which one are you using? I could not use the cigarette flavour ones at all they are the assassins of the cart world. I used the cherry and the vanilla.

Yes I got 5, tried the tobacco first, not good. Been on vanilla all day and still can't get on with it at all. Think I'm going to have to try something else. Will check out those links x

yes definitely check out those links. Its a different world with the ego and a much nicer vape I even convinced my wife to swap from fags by getting her to try mine she hasn't smoked since Saturday,So hang in there and dont give up yet you will find the right equipment/liquid for you and you wont look back.
The vanilla in those always tasted burnt to me and very harsh on the throat.

Welcome Kirstickle, Vaping takes a bit of time to get used to if you follow what oneday says
you wont go wrong, In the end you will find your own way of vaping.

Well, it's day 4 and I still can't take a pull without coughing. I'm so upset, I really wanted to enjoy it and for it to work for me. Do you think it's worth me trying VG or am I clutching at straws? ???

Welcome kirstickle - I'm an ex-Skyciger ... what mg cartridges are you using? When I first started using them I found that the 18mg ones are very harsh.

Hi Ash, I'm on 18mg. I thought I needed that strenghth as I was a 20 a day smoker. I've just bought a load more cartridges too . Not sure what to do now :-[

Kirstickle, whereabouts are you? I'm just wondering that if we have a member near you, you could meet up with them to try their e-cigs/e-liquids to see if you can find something that suits you better.
