BC Will your studies give you insights into how to wean the blighters off my plug plants? I pot them on during the day and the snails climb up 4 levels of staging and scoff them

Tried that link Scyll - tells me to download plugins, which I do but still can't get in!! MM Boo hoo

It did say something about plugins to me too, MM, I enabled/OK'd or summat, had to wait a bit for it to take effect then the video loaded.

There's one in the nest now Classwife. The mate looked in briefly and flew off.

The swallows haven't laid their eggs yet, I think ??? They'll be there more soon

It looked as if the nest was going to be slept in when I caught it last. Swallow looked tucked in for the night.

Iv got two nests in my container in the field. The dog used to go in there to get out of the sun but one day the two birds came flying out did a big swing round the door shot back into the container. Followed by a cacophony of howling a squealing, the dog shot up the field, bolted through the caravan and lay in her bed looking very embarrassed, even when they went home for the winter the dog still looks at that container and hugs the fence when she walks past it.

I hope they come back to the same nest this year but no sign of them yet.

Not to mention being the second largest phylum on the planet you got alot of enemys if you pi$$ em off
