Morning, I have managed to rewick my CE5 no problems, but what i am finding is that after 5 puffs it tastes a little burnt, i leave it for a while have a puff and it tastes good again. Maybe an issue with liquid flowing.
What could this be?
I'm using 0.16 wire and i have tried with a 1.6ml wick and a 2ml wick. (single lenght not doubled) Still the same problem
How tight should i wrap the wire around the wick? and how many loops?
Cheers R

I use 4 wraps of .02 on 2mm silca, have you got the wick in the juice as it does sound like it is not wicking very well.

I think you've wound your coil too tight and it's strangling the wick, not letting the juice flow fast enough

I find .2 Kanthal works for me. It sounds like you may be wrapping the wire too tight around the wick and cutting off the flow of juice. Try winding your wire around the wick and a straightened paperclip or a syringe needle. 1st) It helps to keep the wick more solid as you wrap. 2nd) The space left when you slide out the paperclip/syringe allows the wick to expand when wet.

Yep I use a needle for mine

Perfect thanks, i know exacly what im doing wrong then. When i put the coil on i do it fairly loose but i then pull the two wires to get it into place. no doubt making the coil tigher but its hard to see as its pushed down.
