Hi all Could someone please explain to me what one of these are, and what they are used for and benefits they bring? I've seen them mentioned quite a bit recently and don't have a clue about them

It let you convert a mechanical switch mod to function as a variable voltage.

Hi Kirrie
They're a little bit of electronics that sit on top of your battery (usually in a mechanical mod - that is a PV/e-cig without electronics) and allow you to keep the power to your atomiser constant.
Kicks will determine the Ohms of your atomiser and adjust the Voltage of your battery's output to match whatever you've set it to.
There's a little dial that you set your preferred vaping wattage to, and it will adjust the volts to give you that.
The saying goes, just set and forget.
You can use whizzy maths to work out your preferd vaping wattage or just turn it up/down to get it how you like it and it will do that every time (until your battery dies).
If you're not sure what variable wattage is just have a look in some of the posts here and there's a wealth of info here, or just ask and I'll be happy to explain it.

www.safercigs.co.uk/Evolv_Kick/p705283_5787804.aspxIt will give a mechanical mod regulated wattage, so your vape is always the same throughout a battery's life, rather than starting out at 4.2v and gradually decreasing as the battery loses power. A mechanical mod is basically a tube with a switch, as opposed to an electronic mod which has inbuilt variable voltage or wattage. Ninja'd by FB.

hi mate basically its a module what you can drop into your mechanical mods , got to take at least 18490 battery or 18650 , you then drop your battery size down one so if you have 18650 without the kick you will put 18490 with the kick, or if your mod is 18490 without the kick you would have 18350 with the kick it will give you variable power which is adjusted by a little potentiometer on top of the kick. it also gives you battery short circuit protection and stops working when your battery drops too low
