on another thread i have stated that i believe D 901 carts supplied via EM are knocking my EM LR 901 attys out. i know there will be plenty that have used them with no problem. i have looked back through the threads and found a link profbeard kindly supplied us. ukvapers.com/blog/9/entry-22-about-mini-atomisers-and-carts/i have loads of what now seems to be 4075 carts that i have collected over time these are the ones that have the browny mauve pull out piece and the one piece double inhale holes (see link). i am weary of using the 901 type D shaped ones due to them killing off my most recent batch of EM atties. i am now using the 2 4075 types, but the problem with these is the stuffing gets pushed around 4 mm into the cart, the sides get wet which means im getting a bit of juice in the mouth. too stop this im wiping them quite often and giving he a blow threw. my question is will it do no harm to trim around 3mm of the ends of the 4075 or 1mm off the 901 carts. i believe the straight edge of the D is touching the wick causing some kind of short, why it should with this atty only i dont know. if you see the D cart in profs pictures via the link you will see burning has occurred on the straight edge, this was obviously happening a long while before i got this batch of attys. so could this be the cause of peoples attys dying very quickly. i am not knowledgeable enough with this type of thing to know so maybe some of you could give an opinion on this. raggy.........

Raggy, I can't see it doing any harm trimming the carts & seeing if it makes any difference.

Raggy, I can't see it doing any harm trimming the carts & seeing if it makes any difference. i am going to trim a couple of the 4075 carts, and try them. im guessing really but i think that the 1 or 2mm that they are longer means you pull up wetter vapour, but i am probably wrong. i would try the 510 carts but there really loose. the strange thing is everybody says this or that is not quite doing this or that, but no one really mentions cart problems. probably because there is no problem with them raggy.........
