Far too much shinyness being displayed here, not enough riding being done . Current bike is in my avatar, and my user name is an anagram. Previous bike CBF600, my first bike, had it for 3 years 24,000 miles and then got written off last March. Surprisingly another A3 > turned right in front of me, driver had to attend a course instead of prosecution, and I somersaulted over the top of it. Landed on my head so only soft tissue damage thankfully: Short wheelbase CBF600

Well I walked out of A&E, after a trip there wearing a back board with a neck brace. 11 sessions with a physio and 10 months later and I still get twinges in my hip and neck >

it will soon be time to pull of all the covers and start up the buffing wheels lol. No doubt you will be putting some nice shinny holders on the bike for all these mods you keep buying

Very comfy ride. Nice VTEC engine that snarls when you go through 7000RPM. Used for touring, over 2000 miles in Scotland just after it's 1st service, commuting ( I need luggage space as I work in a different place almost every day ) and going for a blast (without the luggage) -ve points. Honda are stupid and swapped the horn and indicator controls from normal, still haven't got used to it, the horn is what you need in an emergency and Honda have moved it from where it falls naturally under your thumb ??? It went in for a service the other day and I had a Hornet as a loaner, every time I indicated I sounded the horn, lots of puzzled drivers out there nasty plastic cowl around the handlebars > Service time if the valves need adjusting, 4 camshafts that have to be taken out to change the shims, but that's worth it for a fantastic engine.

What is it with A3 drivers ay!. Well she did admit liability at the accident to paramedics and police plus there was a handful of witlessness. She was on a mobile phone so I had no sympathy for it, not to mention pulled out without indicating. A week or so later she tried to blame it on me! crazy. But all went to court and 1 year on I am a happy chappy with the results.
With the attitude of the diver she should have had her license revoked in my opinion but I am sure her insurance is going to go through the roof for the next fair few years.
The irony of it all I was 130 miles into a 131 miles journey to my old stomping ground Birmingham (family live there) to go and do a intensive driving course as my new job required a car license. Also again slightly annoying I was 2 or so months away from potentially going into the forces, I got through selection and effectively awaiting to start. Due to the nature of the injury to my shoulder I need to wait until at-least Jan 2014 to re-apply as its R.E.M.E I was hoping to go to and you NEED to be able to lift heavy things for long distance. Maybe a blessing in disguise? who knows lol
