So she didn.t get banned then Nope and to the police report no further action was taken.... I was very shocked but I found out her OH was high up in the legal services, hmmmm makes one wounder. The case was still won in court on my side so cant complain but even after the settlement it wont change my shoulder playing up when I am older (40s +)

Easy one ,, chassis is bent Now that you mention it, the foot pegs do feel a tad askew. Thanks for pointing that out - will take a hammer to it next weekend and get it straightened out.

My one claimed I had been on her side of the road, right up until the police produced the photos of the accident scene. Never went to court, police asked for my preference prosecution or driver training. Her insurers tried to deny liability for about 2 weeks then accepted 100%.

BSA are lovely bikes, was it something like this? classic-motorbikes.net/images/gallery/1949-b31.jpgMy Grandfather had a few BSA and an original indian. Sold them around 40 years ago when they brought their first house, ironically if he still had them it would be a collection worth just over £100,000! :-[ That's exactly my bike, plunger frame and all, apart from I've taken the pillion seat off, as I like the look. Mines in what I call "everyday use original condition", oil leaks, rust on the wheels and a general lack of care in the cosmetics, the tanks been hand painted and is the one thing I really ought to sort out (apart from the wheels). You could really take an everyday working mans bike from the 50's and it would be my bike. But I do love it, never been into concourse stuff myself. It now of course needs no MOT apparently, which feels a bit wierd. Lots of nice bikes on here, especially like the yellow streetfighter.

Ummm, 1949 BSA B31 I get more enjoyment out of going slow these days Haven't got a photo handy. Had one of these 20yr ago the plunger frame type, used to go to work on it every day and loved it, sadly I sold it, had some good ride outs on it and as you say great for just plodding along and could get a little scary if you pushed to hard into the bends, good times Mybad. It plods along really well, as long as you are on dry roads and don't need to worry about who is behind you, as you aren't going to see them anyway through the mirror. I find it great on curvy back roads, the sort of thing it was built for really, as A roads didn't exist that much then, but yeah plunger frames didn't last long for a good reason. Way better than hard tails though I understand.

In order. 2008 Yamaha YBR 125 1998 Yamaha XJR 600 with 33bph 1998 Kawasaki ZXR 400 2006 Kawasaki ZX6R 2006 Kawasaki ZX6R Unfortunately I am without a bike at the moment, had to buy a better car due to having two small children, however I have plans for a ZX10R or maybe something that's less of a license looser like a Harley sportster. Might be a good incentive to go a whole year without smoking and use that as my target

Hubby can leave me standing on the straights but I can catch him on the corners ! I'd put photo's up if I knew how Use this, its easy. tinypic.com/Click on browse to select your pic, then in the re-size box select message board, then click upload now, enter the text to "prove your not a bot" Then when its loaded look for "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards" select the text under that box, right click copy. Then when your in this forum page, click reply (not quick reply). Then right click, paste the code in the reply box. Done

Two GS850s - one still in courier rat trim, the other one a bit tidier, having done its stint and been the second-string bike then, was cleaned up and painted a bit. The other one of the set is an XS650SE Yamaha, which is still in fairly tidy nick, but showing signs of being 30+ years old, still runs fine, but has the usualy XS rust on the rear guard and the PO painted it a gay purple colour. That will be going black asap, and possibly losing the high bars to make more of a straitforward street bike.

Here's my pride and joy And the one before Itching to get out but not brave enough in these temperatures. Just looking at booking another trackday for spring. Any trackday riders here?
