Back on topic, how long is deemed as safe/necessary to charge 18350 and 18650 batt's.

Just as long as it takes for the light to turn green basically. You dont have to wait to charge a Li-ion battery, if it still has life in it is perfectly acceptable to top it up, they dont have a memory effect like other technoledgy batteries do and I have read articles that state it is actually beneficial to battery longevity to do that.

When the light on the charger goes from red to green your Batts are charged ;0

Depends on the charger. I am using a nitecore I.4 and for two 18650 batteries it can take upto 8/9 hours in bays 1 and 3 , for a single 650 it will take up to 5 hours, don't forget it depends on how low you drain the batts for, I normally recharge them when they go to 3.6 , that way you should get better longevity with them. As for the 18350 batts, normally takes 2 hours. The more batteries you charge at one time will take longer than charging a single batt

Can't wait for the Chinese New Year celebrations to finish so I can order another SS Vamo.My mate had a go on mine at the pub yesterday and it blew him away so he wants one to,lol.

I have the Nitecore as well, excellent charger, charges nicads and nimhs as well.

The nitecore is spot on, I think I got mine from the same place in HK via ebay Rob.

What are you trying to convince min, have you become fluent in chinese, mandarin or one of the many other forms of that language, because if your still speaking english you might have a long wait in convincing him.

It is quite interesting with the communication thing, the chat box on his site uses a translator both ways, he doesn`t speak a word of English so it is important to talk in "dictionary" English with him or it is a cert that it will get messed up somehow and that is where a lot of misunderstandings come from with him. It must be really difficult for him when you consider he trades all over the world

I can't sympathise with the language thingy , he should be multilingual, you would think he would make a effort to learn english at least. Just joking, the only language I speak is broken english and then people will say what, say it again when they should be saying pardon. I am off to learn polish, have to speak to the neighbours one day.

It's worth noting that a lot of the sites with online messaging facilities actually go via Google Translate and convert the messages on the fly. If anyone has used Google translate on foreign websites, you will understand that it isn't exactly perfect. It may be Vaporbreak is using this. I imagine English to Mandarin/Cantonese isn't easy.
