sharon16 , TC may be the way to go for you, no more dry hits, coils last much longer and a constant vape hit, adjustable to suit yourself  I personally use a 70/30 PG VG mix but other options are available.

MTL really never went away, I am still vaping the same way, still about 27 watts, still TC, haven`t changed a thing in the past 8 years ish. Still getting my juice from China at about 6 quid for 100mls and still vaping 18 mg Hangsen Virginia ( not golden virginia or any other derivative of Virginia), and after trying various atomisers, went back to my atty of choice, the Wismec Theorem and the notch coil (getting 10 weeks plus out of each coil with TC) They still seem to be making the Theorem and available at bargain prices, even in the UK. It really is a cigarette habit replacement for me. The only extra I have bought in the last couple of years is this Aegis double 18650 setup which works very nicely, £30 from China. HELLO PEOPLE   |

It`s been a while people Still MTL, still getting my juice exclusively from china at £6 per 100ml, still vaping Hangsen Virginia temperature controlled, still on 18mg (no intention of reducing it), mesh coils for my beloved Theorem still lasting months and still have about 20 mods bought years ago, still vaping at 25w TC. The latest hardware I bought was a new theorem atty, hard to find but will last me another couple of years (hard to find but still out there available very cheap). Yes it is a ciggy substitute and I still love the flavour, why would I change?  The number of cloud chasers seem to be reducing, it always was gimmicky in my opinion and not a good example to youngsters who may be attracted to vaping by the gimmickry of it. It`s a matter of opinion but I am still relatively sane  |

It depends what his coil resistance is, all mods have a current limit, resistance range etc and going by the pic it is the current limiting coming in. Probably a firmware update coming as happens often with Joyetech stuff lately EDIT There are 9v and 25Amp limits on the mod with firmware 3.0 which is perfectly sensible and normal. I dont know if they have updated that that with the 3.1 firmware. |

I found the 317L was a no go after 4 days of rebuilding with it (which was when I ran out of wire) I was getting shorts either in the coils on the posts or against the case, I just couldn't get it to work which leads me to believe the wire I had must of been at fault given how many coils I've build with ni200 and A1 without the same problems/ My coils are always simple coils, slightly spaced. I dont see any advantage personally in taste or temperature having tight coils with the possible "touching wraps" etc. |

With TMC SS317L what TCR are you guys using? 0.00088 or 0.00094? I`m finding the Nife is not staying as gunk free as the SS does, still using the same wick (6 days now, same juice as usual) |

Getting a very similar vape on the XCUBE mini in nickel mode at 240F.
EDIT ................. needing 300F on the RX200 in nickel mode for the same vape and about 330F in titanium mode. Bear in mind I am dripping so the figures wont be totally accurate. Not possible to get out of TC in SS mode, coming in at the lowest temperature setting.

Got the Nife on the go this morning, vaping on the Asolo at 25W, the coil is .28mm (29AWG), 3mm former, starts at 0.34 ohms and reaches 25W at 0.59 ohms.
A very nice clean tasting vape, will probably improve once the wick has had a bit of use. Vapor production is fine. I vape at 18mg nic mouth to lung. It set up perfectly on the Asolo with one 10 second "learn" vape,
A nice warm flavoursome vape
Will try it on other mods. |
