Welcome to the wonderful world of vaping To avoid disappointment here's a couple of quick tips: 1. Have a back up! - If your clearomiser/cartomiser/Vivi Nova or tank stops working tomorrow or the Wife/Husband/Dog stands on it and breaks it could you wait for 24 - 36 hours to get a replacement? What will you do till then? Back on the stinkies? 2. Maintenance, you should periodically clean the threaded terminals on your battery, a piece of kitchen roll will do, better is a alcohol wipe. And DON'T forget the terminals on your charger too! 3. Most Clearomisers and Vivi Nova's last longer and perform better if you give them a rinse out periodically, hot (not boiling) tap water will do, NO DETERGENT. If you're really fastidious you could use a denture cleaning tablet or some bicarbonate of soda. Give them a soak then a rinse, a shake out and if you can wait for it to dry you can, or you can just fill it up and wait till the water boils off the coil before the taste comes through properly again. 4. Clearomisers (Vision Ego's) and Vivi Nova types can be bought back to almost 100% by DRY BURNING - NOT CARTOMISERS! If you want to know more JUST ASK 5. Finally: Please Please Please, if you have a question or don't understand something JUST ASK it's what we're here for. We all (including me) started just like you the only silly question is the one you don't ask. Thankyou I have a bottle of cheap vodka on hand, if my clearos need cleaning i just put the heads and tubes in the vodka and soak overnight, wash out with warm water, one or two blasts dry burning and your good to go. I also use this vodka and an ear bud to clean the contact on the batteries and the threads and also the contact on the bottom of the clearo, do this once a week and my clearos are still going strong 4 to 5 weeks in on the same heads although i do have a load of spares.
