I've also ordered a bunch of flavours and nic juice etc, and am going through the learning process at the same time as you, Sue. I just came across this: breaktru.com/smf/index.php/topic,205.0.html

It says that most flavourings are PG based. I've already checked perfumers apprentice and capella and CCW, and they're all PG. I imagine totally wicked use PG flavourings, but best check by emailing them.

Well just been on TW site and read the eliquid facts bit and they contain PG I told you patience wasn't my strongest point. So would that mean that looking at the ejuice mixing chart, halfway down, underneath the ingredients list, where it says PG, what do I put in there because I don't have any PG other than what is in the Platinum Ice and flavouring

That bit is for the desired pg/vg outcome. So if you want it 80% PG, you put in 80, and then it tells you how much you need to add.
If you don't have any PG, you need to buy some. Your nic boase is 52 nic mg, which needs diluting down. So yes, on top of all those things you bought you need plain PG and/or VG.
But if you don't want extra PG in your juice, because you already have VG, then you just leave that PG box blank, and put a number in the VG box instead.
Pg can be bought online. If you're in a rush, you could get some VG from Boots or Tesco or Asda instead. You can get it in the pharmacy section, it'll be called Glycerin, I believe, and it's cheap. And you can then dilute it with alcohol if you want it as thin as PG.
And you might even be able to get PG from these same places, but I'm not sure.

Right so let me see if I've got this 61 year old brain around this then #attachment# If I am using PG based nicotine, I put in the PG value of 100% in the very top box of the chart asking nicotine strength. When I get halfway down the page would I enter in the PG column 60% this being 50% of the nicotine strength PG and 10% for the PG in the flavouring. My brain hurts

Let me explain my piccy above, which you are best to right click on and open in a new window so you can read below while viewing.
Red is the data you need to enter for 18mg strength and 10% flavouring. Now the green circled data is my doing and needs explaining. I have slowly adjusted the VG %age until the PG shows 0 required to add to the mix in the recipe results. This means the two figures now in the left red circle are your final ratio you can achieve by not adding PG. What you could do is just leave as 50% or you could change to wanting a final recipe of 100%PG, but instead of adding PG just add the same amount VG. If left at say 50%, add both the PG and VG recipe amounts together and add this to your mix as VG. i.e. requires 5 drops VG + 1 drop PG, so add 6 drops VG.

In my example, you would add 35 drops platinum ice 52mg ( sorry should have been 54mg entered if that is the strength of your base liquid) You can tweek this yourself in the calculator).
You also need 55 drops VG (which will be your AG - AG is diluted VG, but as yours is AG already we have set the water vodka to zero.
Then you need 10 drops of flavouring. Total 100 drops which is about 5ml total mixed ejuice.
