I got the guys at our fab shop to drill me out some holes in a peice of steel (square) tubing. Its the stuff they use to build custom highway matenance lorry bases for 32 ton trucks.

Even sprayed it up. Took 1 hour to drill due to the kind of drill rig setup.

Im very impressed!!, Think id be tempted to get some rubber grommets for those sharp edges though : /

I might go and raid the store room for some work in a massive workshop that does specialist fittings to 4x4s and trucks so they must have some around.

I just noticed, that one hole slightly off, think that would trigger my ocd, but then im ex military and have an annoying tendancy to like straight lines

The group of 6 medium holes aren't evenly spaced either, and they seem to have a 50p shape (might be the camera angle or lighting giving that effect.

But good stuff for no expense. Given the likely weight of it useful for throwing at SO when they are complaining about vaping purchases.

No idea Rybes, but we are all based accross the UK. I work in the head office looking after the IT systems (boooooooorrrrrriiiiiinnnnnnnggggg as anything) but good bunch of guys.

I know =/ I noticed it to, but cant complain for one of the guys doing it quickly in work time.

Like you I am rather ocd with things like that especially when its not aligned up correctly!, nothing worse than a battery mod with a slightly pissed 510 threading. Really sends my inner ocd self on one.
