of all things to smuggle i bring back between 2 and 4 kilos of fresh raw chillis from turkey.

no one has ever caught me yet, thats if you can get caught.
i then liquidise them with other ingredients sack of onions, ginger, white vinegar, celery, tomato puree, tinned tomatoes and make a huge vat of chilli sauce, freeze it off in freezer bags then add bag too stews, chilli con carne etc.
the whole lot lasts a year and it puts any canned jarred stuff to shame.

em, i really need to get out more.
