It helps with a Tank atomiser's if you blow out the primer and drizzle a little ejuice directly round the circular bridge to get them wicking initially, helps to avoid any burnt taste until the atomiser gets fully going.
Least that's what I've found with the TornadoT's, EgoT's may be the same.
And as River says, make sure the little hole at the bottom of the Tank cart is fully pierced.
