anyone techie minded on windows8

I have bought a new computer which has windows 8 on it,trying to download the ,mixing chart from ejuice,but says my current secuirity system wont let me download it,i have been into security system,but don't know what to tick to let me do it can anyone here help,be most thankful.

depending which prog you have just add link it ot safe list or just use an on line one like this from liberty flights one i use

thanks have downloaded that one for now,but really wanted the ejuice me up one,but don't know why it not letting me download it

you could just disable the security for the down load then re enable it

how do I disable the security,total noob and new computer wont let me download any programs it doing my head in am going round in circles,also trying to add avast and it wont let me grrrr

I cannot get the eJuicemeup to download onto XP either.

If not it could be a few things, UAC, browser settings or your firewall/anti-virus program.

Its says browser settings blocking download away to read link storm posted as not very techie

Mine is downloading okay and setting up, but when I go to open it, Microsoft is saying there is an error.

I think there must be something in my PC that is stopping this program from opening.

In the zip file is an .exe file.
That is what is being blocked/suspected of being malicious.
If using IE, try Firefox.

Do you already have an AV package?
I wouldn't advise you to use Avast (free) if you can avoid it. MSE works just as well and is less stressful and "naggy" as well.

you should see a menu bar at the bottom saying" allow this download "when you try downloading .... say yes


besides download firefox its a lot better browser than IE

I use google chrome as well on some machines.
