Well after another 36min on the phone to them and speaking to a manager, I will be getting £15 off my next order plus another free delivery because he could not amend the £95.06 total. I told them I no longer want to use Asda because they have now put me off ordering online but he just said that this is the only way he could resolve it. Should I leave it at that or take it further I'm not sure now.

I would accept his offer but also tell him you will be writing to head office about it so they are aware of your shoddy service. Might also be worth telling them how many other people no longer use them because of it.

Personally I would have refused his offer as you have no intentions of shopping with them again, what good is the £ 15?
They are legally obliged to refund the amount they took from your account because you have not received the goods. Failing that, I would write to the Chairman at Asda head office, marking it Personal, informing him you want your money and you want it now. I don't know if you have a Consumer rights telephone help line where you are, but they are great at things like that, they will ring/write on your behalf to the company and get things sorted pdq.
You could also go on their Facebook page is you have access, and slate them off there, that usually gets a response.

Nothing to do with ASDA, but I did have cause to complain about a breakfast at Toby Carvery, sent complaint to the appropriate address and heard absolutely nothing. Tried again with the same result.
Then I discovered them on FB.
Posted my complaint on there and got an immediate offer of recompense.
Might be a good idea to share the horror on a public forum..

I dont think I will ever be using Asda home delivery...A friend of mine has had all the same problems that you have a couple of days ago and they offered her free delivery on her next order lolol.....she had a few choice words and said she will never be using um again.

I had exactly the same thing............. but with Tesco, ordered a monthly shop and waited for it to arrive....... waited....... and waited, each time I called they told me it was on its way, in the end I went to bed and next morning had a telephone call from Tesco to say that, sorry for not delivering but they could not find my address....... offered me £10 off my next order......... needless to say I refused and have never used Tesco since, it has gone completely downhill in the quality of their products. Then to add insult to injury....... it took 14 days to get a refund > I've used both Sainsbury & Asda and never had a prob with deliveries
