I'm having no luck with mine First was DOA 2nd lasted just a week 3rd blew after 2 days. From 2 different suppliers and i wont be mentioning names. I'm using them on my ego xl batteries (e.g. the same as you would get in a tank kit). I love the idea of a tank, but its just not working for me. I cant afford to keep replacing atties at this rate. Any hints or tips?

I will be, just knocking off emails now... Its more about the inconvenience of it all , the faff with getting to the post office, the faff of having to complain, and the faff of having to wait for the postie again. Have i just been unlucky? are they usually more reliable than this?

I am having problems with my tank too! and it isn't just the atties it is the batteries also. I am actually quiet dissapointed with it to be honest. Mine had a dead atty which has been replaced (arrived yesterday) but I seriously think that the route of my problem it with either one or both of the batteries. I put a fully charged one on and it will work fine, then after a short, and I mean very short time it will totally die. BUT if I put it onto another atty it will work again. I am doing a test this morning, I have put a fully charged battery on this moment and I am going to see how long it lasts. It is OK having to send these things back - the suppliers do sort it out, but what do we do in the meanting, to top it up I am sick to death of the tank and have brought a itank (arrived yesterday) hoping that works better for me!

It's one of the reasons I decided not to stock the LRs as I've read to many complaints about them. It must be a manufacturing fault, it could be that the coil overheats with it being in an enclosed unit as all LR atties only come with a DOA guarantee they must know that they aren't going to last very long. Maybe the best thing is to look on YouTube and try to learn how to repair these if theirs going to be continuing problems with them, I know you shouldn't have to but it will save on turn around time and I don't think they are to hard to do according to the videos.

Right! I put this new atty onto a fully charged (overnight battery) at approx 8.30 this morning! I have only lightly used it, the cartridge is full (but not overfull) it is cracking like hell but hardly anything is coming out! That can't be right can it?

DT Thing is it's not the suppliers fault either it must be a manufacturing fault, I know if I had problems like that I'd steer clear of the units themselves untill the problems were ironed out, I've never been a fan of LRs with any attie as they never last as long as standard atties

camperman this is what I think i will do, I'm going to steer clear of the LR tank atties from now on.
Are the standard tank atties more reliable in your opinion or would i be better with a cleromizer?
