Hi all, My setup is as follows: Vamo: www.vapeescape.co.uk/ego-vv-vw-18650-mod-vamo~466Tank: www.vapeescape.co.uk/coloured-tanks-6ml~320Cart: www.vapeescape.co.uk/boge-510-standard-resistance-%285%29~145And use RY4 liquid (70/30 pg/vg) I do love the above compared to just cart only due to the ease of re-filling and the vape/throat hit but i tend to find that the carts don't last that long until they start tasting not as nice. I was thinking of the following: Clearomisor: www.vapeescape.co.uk/kanger-t3-bottom-coil-clearomiser~458Spare Base: www.vapeescape.co.uk/kanger-t3-spare-base~459Adaptor 510-ego-t: www.vapeescape.co.uk/adapters~163Now i am not a fan of Clearomisor's (dunno why but the throat hit don't seem to be as good as a Cart) But..... After seeing this video i am quite interested in the Kanger T3: The re-filling looks to be a doddle and i was thinking if i buy a Kanger T3 Spare Base when one gets dirty and can then swap with the spare and clean the old one which would eliminate having to buy carts so often as i do. Also sometimes Carts can be hit or miss, sometimes they work great sometimes they don't. So my question is how do you think they compare? Is there a big difference in Throat hit? Is there a big difference in the amount of Vape & Taste? Is there a difference in how much liquid it uses (the dct seems to quickly suck up liquid compared to just using a cart only)? The Kanger is 2.4 - 2.6 ohm and the cart is standard resistance @ 2.8 - 3.2 ohm, will this effect anything? p.s Still looking to see if i can find the larger version of the Kanger T3 in the UK Regards Romelee

All i can say is that i absolutely love my kanger T3 as it provides great flavour and vapour and gives a nice warm throat hit which is unusual for a bottom coil clearo.I repair the coil myself and always coil it to 3ohm and vape it at 5.5-6W and performance is fantastic.I also love that the T3 doesn't hammer the juice, one fill lasts me all day and an absolute doodle to fill up.Well worth a try and when you get used to recoiling them,a very cheap rebuildable tank system.Hope this helps and is just my take on the T3.

Hi mate,i have never had any leaks whatsoever with mine :-/I use 0.16 kanthal or nichrome heating wire and two pieces of 2mm CE2 wick, one piece on top of the other to wrap the coil around.I usually do 5-6 turns of wire around the wick which gives me 2.8-3ohm which I have found works amazingly for me.Only way i could see anyone getting leaks is if they haven't used enough wick to make the coil but i have never ever had it happen. If you watch Todds excellent video in the tips and tricks section he shows you how to do it step by step,it is very very easy to do.The wick and wire from C9 will do the job nicely mate.

Just to add that I use an 80% PG,20%VG mix and wicking is great with a 3ohm coil at 5-6W.It amazes me how good the throat hit is at such a low voltage also.I have been quietly using mine as my going out vape for months now and I'm very happy with it.Only reason i haven't ordered more replacement heads is because it is so easy to add a new coil myself.

If it was me i would choose the 0.15 or 0.16 nichrome or kanthal personally. If you go to vapingthings you will find all that you need at the one shop including wire and wick.Dee on here also sells the heating wire so you could send her a p.m.With the heating wire it is worth trying a few different ones to see which you like.0.20 kanthal is another great heating wire but is lower resistance so you would need to use more turns for a higher resistance.

Hi Romelee. Welcome I have been using Kanger T3 for 2 months now. A great little system, easy to fill, easy to repair. I certainly would recommend them. Vapeescape can supply all your needs, the T3 and spares along with wire and wick. jeffc

I also use a T3 and have a DCT as a backup and my current fav liquid is VR's KY4 and I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that the T3 is the best clearo on the market at this time. As I said DCT is the backup, simply because the T3 kicks butt in every way.

You wont be disapointed iff you do, i used dc carto`s myself, not the ones with tanks but both work on the same principal, i now use t-3 bottom fead atties/clearo`s amogst other things , but the kanger is my fave and used 9 times outa 10, taste and vapour are massive imo, some people say they are a little airy on the draw and id agree to a certain extent, but ive used and use most new type of clearo`s and this is the best all rounder by far imho for taste, vapour and life span, all you do when changeing a juice or cleaning is run it under hot water, leave to dry overnight on radiator, then dry burn it by attaching the inner bit to your battery and pressing the button 2 or 3 times for a second until the coil glows red and all the gunk has burnt off, fill it up and screw it back together and its as good as new, when dry burning just look down the top when pressing the button and you will see the coil turn red hot, i vape the 2.6 ohm on myvamo at 6.5 to 7 watts depending on the oil, i find 8 watts is a bit too much and you get that burny taste. Thats about it really but yes id go for it, a great move and choice imho, atb.

How do you get 3ohm when recoilng them ? , i cant get above 2ohm but like higher, could you let me into your secret of what thickness wire and wick you use and how many coils you put on the wick, its summink i aint too clued up on, cheers m8
