Spheroid re-wicking and adding foam

Hi guys, just wondering how often everyone else sets up a new wick and filler?

I'm changing mine every-other day for for Wicking and around every 4 days for the blue foam. I'm using the 'Eggy' way, that's now the only way...
Still with the Spheroid..

After a bit of a learning curve, I now change filler when I want to change flavour. One fill now seems to last me a full day of constant usage. I put in a new wick last weekend and it is still going good

Just changed mine the other day, think it had been on the go for at least a month . . . once in a blue moon I rinse the foam out and that's only if a flavour change isn't especially compatible with what I've had on the go previously.

Total tart I know, but I don't change the coils in any of my rebuildables unless I have to.

This would seem why I've just ordered 10m of wire, 5m Wick and enough blue foam for a sea life centre!

Always good to have plenty of stocks though Worthing, never know when there might be a planet wide shortage of stuff.

This is the best stuff. Make sure you buy the Fluval 1 and not the 1 Plus.
There was some other stuff kicking about a few weeks back that claimed to be specially formulated for what we want it for but IMO, it's nowhere near as good as this stuff. One box of this will last you a lifetime. You don't need to throw it away, just wash and re use every time. Perfect for spheroids and steam machines.

I use Sera in mine - I got a 100gm bag of it which should last a good 10 years! I find that it's fine once you figure out how much suits you. As to re-coiling it depends how much you use it - I probably put 1-2 mls through mine most days and change the coil about once a fortnight. I find if you dry burn it regularly you get much better life from your coil. I change the filler about once a month if it's lucky - actually you only have to rinse it out and dry it and you can re-use it multiple times.

I use the same e-juice in my Spheroid and it has been going for 2 weeks now.
I will change the coil when the one that is in stops working and I will change the blue sponge when it disintegrates and falls out.

If it aint broke, then don't fix it.

you'll get about 3 strips from a single square - and they can be washed and last pretty much forever
