PC Problem

I did use the tool first Chrissie. I seem to have fixed the fingerprint problem. I deleted all the Proboard loggins from password manager and re-entered them. At least, they're working in IE9 - I've yet to try Firefox.

PS: The reader works perfectly using IE9 but Firefox only recognizes one Proboards' forum, it seems to think they're all the same. Nothing to do with Avast as it behaves similarly with AVG.

It's not a good idea to fiddle with the bios, if the battery was removed from the motherboard I hope you wrote down all the bios settings first ?
Failure to do that might make your pc run differently as the bios is were your memory and other stuff is calculated, the pc may work now but if the bios has been configured differently it cause other problems down the road.

Never mess with the bios unless you know what your doing

camperman; I don't know Jack about my PC but the friend does and didn't change any bios settings (he says). All seems to be running fine now however so fingers crossed. The PC is around 8 years old so if it goes belly-up it owes me nowt; all is backed up.

My FF recognizes the 4 different Proboards fora I use Fox. This updated version doesn't support Billeo which I used for PW managing tho'
