Are you trying to charge the battery in the Vamo through a Ego charger? I sincerely hope not

No one EVER looks at Chris, it's a sort of sideways glance, with a quick tipping of the head.

Disappointing........ So, I can ascertain from the above posts that; A) Li-Ion batteries cannot be trickle charged from a 4.8 - 5V supply @ appx. 420mA and B) ....well, I WAS going to have a rant here, but I cannot be bothered; plus, as some of the posts above indicate, quite obviously I am a bit fick and therefore anything I have to say is irrelevant. My apologies for wasting your time, your superior intellect is wasted on me! As I said; "Disappointing".

OK, I can't tell if it is the batt or the Vammo, but something is seriously wrong...if it is connected to USB for charging and the Vammo is turned off by using 5 cliks of button, this instantly bricks whatever computer it is connected to! This has happened 3 times now, with my laptop, I have to disconnect the power and battery for about 10 seconds before I can turn it back on. I know connecting to PC USB is not ideal for charging, but this should NOT happen. I have another batt on the way to me, I will test with it when it arrives and so should be able to pin the problem down to one or the other... I will update when I know more. Are you connecting you're usb from your computer to the top thread of the vamo? If you are - do not do this 1 more time. The batts need charging in a special dock such as this.. www.vapeescape.co.uk/xtar%2Dwp2ii%2Dcharger%7E408youtube a few things before diving in...

YOU CANNOT CHARGE THE BATTERIES IN A VAMO/PROVARI/ZMAX/LAVATUBE ETC WITH THE BATTERIES STILL IN IT WITH A EGO TYPE CHARGER. YOU WILL DAMAGE YOUR CHARGER/E-CIG/BATTERIES!! The batteries need to be removed and charged in a "Stand alone" charger like a X-tar WPII or Nitecore etc....

If you are trying to charge your vamo batteries via an ego type charger hooked up to a USB port on you PC, you also stand a good chance of frying your motherboard.

But not in electronic mods that take stand alone batteries. You do no have a reverse path for the current to get to the batteries and pushing the button will try and output voltage and current at the connector end. That's why you PC is locking up because you are pushing voltage and current into your laptop. You have to take the batteries out and charge them in a Li-Ion charger. b. Your attitude sucks! Big time. Learn to laugh at and learn from your mistakes and be thankful nothing serious happened.
