My precious "Tasha", who I had from 8 weeks until she passed away aged 15 years, when I lived in Lanzarote. This was taken not long before she went..............Miss her.................  |

Absolute cracker  , I have a 91/2 year old Jack Russell and my eldest daughters black labrador, who I inherited 21/2 years ago, when my daughter had twins and one of them was allergic to the dog. Molly the lab is nearly 13 now and is totally blind but Jessie the JR, looks after her and shows her where the food dish is. They go everywhere together and at bedtime the JR nicks the big dog bed and the lab, who is a very big girl, tries to squeeze into JR.s bed.

Chris, I can certainly understand you missing Tasha, she looks to have been a wonderful companion. As far as Jessie, she's got that look that says "Honest, it wasn't me Guv! it was the Jack Russell from next door!" I'm gradually cutting down my hours at work, and as I'll be home more, am seriously considering taking on a dog. I've not had one since I was a kid, but happy memories. |

I know whats it like Chriss, to lose a pet we had a sheep collie for well over 15 years it was sad when we had to put her down, we had no choice she was ill.
Her nervous system gave up great dog very good with kids and realy intelligent
we now have a miniature collie hes as thick as s**t but would not part with him.
And hes a bag of nerves we got him from a rescue centre apparently he was badly mistreated,
we have no reason to disbelief the centre if hes near someone and if they raise their hand took quick
he runs away like a shot.

This is part of what I contend with now, although they belong to my housemate.............5xPomeranians ( mum, dad, their 2 pups & an older black tea cup Pom, a Bejon Friese & a Chinese Crested...........a Siamese cat, a tabbie & a Bengal kitten........ Check out the face on the white Chinese crested........" F*** Off with that camera"..........  |
