Hi Everybody I have had e-cigs before and I used them for 2 months, but so much went wrong in my life I reverted back to real cigs, but now things are settling down and I want to start using ecigs again. I have dug out my Liberro Realis and have charged the 2 batteries up. Now I was always unsure before how many ecigs a day would be the equivalent to how much I smoked. Does any one have any ideas? I currently smoke 25 to 30 a day Richmond Superkings. I currently have 1.1% and 1.4% of bottles of nicotine. Cheers

Hi and welcome smokefree2013, I'm bit confused as to the nicotine is that what the nicotine content of the e-juice you have flavour ? if so I think your nicotine is far to low you should try 18mg to 24mg to start of with.

Hello & welcome Smokefree As you smoke 25- 30 king size a day, I think you will struggle with your Realis - you would do so much better with an ego or Riva sized kit. If by 1.1% & 1.4% you mean 11mg & 14mg nicotine content, I think you will also struggle with that. You need at least 18mg & more likely 24mg to begin with.

Hello and #welcome2# I was on those so 24 mg I found was good just take your time, and don't rush to give up I vape more than I smoked as I enjoy it more. But I think I read somewhere that 10 puffs = 1 cig?

Hi and welcome smokefree. You will love it here, everyone is so helpful. Well done for kicking the stinkies into touch. Like others have said, 24mg is probably a good level to start considering your past smoking habit. Dont forget you are cutting out all the 4000 odd chemicals that are in the smoke you inhaled from cigarettes. Now is the start of a great journey with a lot of new friends here on the forum to help you. As has been suggested, you may be better of starting with something a little better vaping kit wise. Many of us, me included started of with the smallest kit but it is not long before you will want something better and so it goes on. Perhaps something like an Variable Voltage Ego kit should last you a good while. I first had the smallest cig-a-likes followed by a small Ego kit then on to larger Egos then variable voltage Egos all in the course of a couple of months. I could have saved myself quite a bit if I had gone straight to the VV Ego from the start. But of course you must go at your own speed and as you have stopped buying cigs, you should save enough to buy some good kit, fingers crossed, you wont look back. Just keep reading as much as you can on here and you will get an idea of what others have experienced. Enjoy

I currently smoke 25 to 30 a day Richmond Superkings. I currently have 1.1% and 1.4% of bottles of nicotine. Cheers Hi smokefree. If you are smoking 25-30 a day you may as well either start afresh again with a new kit and liquid or try dual-using e-cigs with NRT. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, and hit you uncompromisingly around the head with that news, but 1.1% or 1.4% is not going to get you anywhere near enough nicotine. I actually quite like the Liberro brand and the e-liquid, but I notice some of their products don't even state the strength of the liquid in the refills? - why not order some higher strength liquid from somewhere. You nicotine intake is probably around 25+mg a day, depending you how smoke. Their re-fills hold 0.7ml (according to the website). In basic terms, using 3 refills (worth) a day with something like 20mg (or more) liquid will give you a fighting chance. I quit smoking on JacVapour V3s. I started on 18mg and moved up to 24mg. I did actually quit on 24mg liquid (2-3 fill-ups a day) but that was actually quite a lot of vaping and the batteries couldn't really keep up. After a while, I got a RIVA and consistently used 1.5-2ml of juice a day. It was surprisingly painless and I didn't have to vape anywhere near as often. Good luck.

I can't think of any member currently using the Realis, but I'm sure 1 or 2 have bought them in the past. It would be unlikely for anyone to be using something like that long-term, especially since they found this forum (or another one, I guess.... ) I remember thinking "I'm doing OK with my e-cig (the JacVapour), I would consider myself an e-cig user not a fully fledged "vaper". I can't ever see myself upgrading to that sort of product (those sort of devices)." But, everything was sooooo much easier with a Riva. But, best of all was that I didn't need to vape all the time. I know a chap that does a lift-share to work everyday (a 45 minute drive). His co-journey-passenger wouldn't let him smoke, so he uses an e-cig. Rumour has it, it never leaves his mouth for the full journey. Then, he gets to work, charges it, and uses it on the way home. He only smokes half a pack of Marlboro Gold a day.... Certain brands are just so poor at providing enough nicotine, you just have to puff on them constantly. I upgraded to avoid that.
