3400mah 18650 battery

I saw in a thread recently someone had 3400mah batteries. I think it was in a Vamo but can't find the thread for the battery name...

Any one have any ideas or if the owner of said batteries reads this please let me know the name.

Hmm - I have one and it fits snugly in my Vamo. No damage whatsoever to the plastic sheath despite numerous recharges. I have the original spring, V2, and my 18350s do rattle a bit though.

I did read that eFest 18650s wouldn't fit, but someone else said they would to me!

the 2000mAh option is a safer bet for the vamo

They were the efest 3400 batteries. They are a very tight fit in the vamo and there is a very real danger of the plastic casing wearing away and the battery casing shorting out on the mod itself. If you decide to try for yourself then please be sensible and check the plastic casing every time you remove the battery and make sure it hasn't been compromised.
Also, I have two of these batteries and one fits easily and one fits very snug so there is a difference between individual batteries.

Yes it was Robby and they were these ones, but iff the senybour work, either or int it, i think senybour are panasonic inside anyhow aren`t they ?

Yes all 3400 mah batteries are basically Panasonic 18650B.

Whatever brand you buy, make sure you don't buy protected ones for using in mods like the VAMO/Zmax etc.,

I just remembered reading a post mentioning the panny 3400 ones and a friend asked me this evening to recommend some batteries for his hunting torch and I just couldn't find the thread.

Why no protection Macca ? I have 18350 (efest) 900mah with protection

Protection works against already protected mods like the VAMO/Zmax/LT/Provari etc., and may give you inadequate performance at higher outputs or cause the protection circuit to kick in especially with VAMO type circuits.

The battery casing is negative - the casing of the mod is negative, the only positive bit of the battery is the top.
You could put a bare naked cell in there and there wouldn't be a problem.
However, if some designs have an utterly stupid layout where the casing is positive, now that would cause a problem. I wouldn't rule that out, though.
