I only ever use 5% Vodka maximum. Over this and due to the water content you'll drown the wick, it will not be able to get hot enough to properly vaporise the PG or VG.

Just use the VG and the flavouring for a quick test. Water is not necessary and the flavouring will thin it down enough to vape it. Before you mix it, do a quick lick test with the flavouring. It needs to taste very strong to be suitable for us.

Ok, went to Boots at lunchtime purchased the VG, no deionised water so as you said Chrisde just used VG and flavouring, 50/50 was waaaay too runny 60/40 the consistency appears to be getting there. sorry just could not resist but after a whole half hour of steeping (i know, how impatient am i?) i had to christen a clearo with it.
Verdict: loads of vapour, normally vape ready mixed juice heavy on the PG. It is sweeter than I expected and the Vanilla very subtle and delicate after taste, though does need to be stronger tasting but then it was a cheapo from Lidl and no steeping. However I like it!
thanks to all for your input and as for mixing? my journey has begun!

Vg is a wee bit sweet so I have deduced that you do not have a sweet tooth P-), unlike me who must have an overdose of Stevia to keep me on the wagon P-)

Frogster's Capella flavourings are the very best so check out 'the alchemists cupboard' you will not be making the same mistakes i made...drawer full of stuff i don't like, and yet to get Capella i don't love!

I'll second that for Capella, also Cup Cake World's flavours are absolutely beautiful I made some buttercream icing for our cup cakes the other night and decided to add a bit of strawberry flavouring from CCW, only put 4 drops in and it was really strong, tasted like we were eating strawberries on top of the cakes.
