Couple of friends have been asking me where to get started and I'm not really sure what to advise. What would you recommend to them.
Also I'm currently using ego style set up with vision stardust. But I've lost 2 batteries (my own fault) including one clearo. What set up would you recommend to replace this?

The Riva 1100 kit from vape escape is recommended by a lot of people. The service and support from vape escape is also excellent so if you have any problems Jason will always help get you sorted out.

As above post regarding Riva 1100 kit from Vapeescape really fast delivery, next day, and a lovely kit, long lasting batteries. Mine last all day and night and I'm a heavy vapour. Kit comes in a nice case, with all you need to get vaping

Thanks guys. There's a decent looking vision kit from Vape Escape that looks good for myself.

The only problem I had with that Riva kit is the clearo that comes with it. It never worked with my Riva's as it always pushed the centre pin down, then when I got some Ego batteries it just didn't work at all. It's not the best introduction to clearomisers.

It's still a good kit, and is only an issue if you want a decent clearo with your starter kit. It put me right of clearos though. I have an impression, perhaps incorrectly, that they're just a total faff that rarely works. I've been off the tabs for a month and still am wary of clearos.
Edit: And to add, I may have just not got the hang of it. I'm not disparaging the kit, just the clearo and again, it might just be something I've done wrong. It's a great kit overall, you'll have no regrets buying it.

The Riva kit is a good kit, but I've noticed more and more people lately using much smaller ecigs. When I pull my Riva out I've often got 'That's bloody massive'.
Have to admit I've been considering getting a smaller one for out and about, but haven't really looked into them and the smaller clearos yet.
