Hi All. I am using Grizwalds "Black Cat" 18mg, on a vamo set at 8 watts, inside an AGA-t+ with s/s mesh wick. After only 2 days (10hours vaping time) my coil is covered in `black charcoal`, to a degree that you cannot see the coil wire. Is this normal, coil 4/5 wraps is measured at 1.6 oHms. ??? Any advice greatly received. Thanks. jeffc.

I can't speak for Black Cat, but I made a blackcurrant/licorice mix that made my coil develop little tumours all over after a day or so.
No idea what specific ingredients cause it, although I know tobacco steeps are particularly gunk-inducing.

I have found that sweet or darker juices will clog the coil/wick quite quickly. Just take old toothbrush to it(gently).

Thanks for your comments and advice. Will certainly do a `dry burn` when tank is empty.
