Just trying to post an add in the "for sale" section and I am trying to add a photo attachment but after it goes through an uploading sequence I get a warning of "Error This Forum has reached its attachment limits" and I am unable to get a photo into my add?? The photo is only 759kb, Dont quite know what I am doing wrong. Any advice please.
Thanks

proboards now have a data storage limit ...it can be increased for a price so we are encouraging the use of site like photobucket for adding attachments

Thanks for the advice guys, I have uploaded to Photobucket but cant see the bit that allows me to copy the link. I have tried using the URL in the title bar and sent it via email but it seems to open my photobucket account rather than just show the photograph as in Sandra`s post above??

once you have the image uploaded click to open it in Photobucked and then on the right hand side you will see links choose the Direct Link by simply clicking on it next go to the post you wish to add a picture to and click the Insert Image icon paste the link into the image URL box that appears

Thanks Gordy, I got to the point of doing that but the image links seem to have been heavily redacted with a rather large black felt pen ???

Ok if that doesn't work, do this-
Go to photobucket, copy the IMG code and just paste that into your post.

Thanks Sandra, Could not get the Photo directly into the post but at least I found a link for people to click. Dont like that system, yet yesterday I was able to PM a Youtube clip that appeared directly in the post so the receiver of the PM could see the Vid right on the post???

To post a pic in a thread from photobucket, you need to copy & paste the IMG code.
