I am going to a Vaping meet on Monday - first one ever...

Ordered a 306 atomiser along with some bits and bobs, just to take along. I guessed if I have some juices with me for people to try, I'm going to need something to drip with if folk return the favour.

Got home an hour ago, opened it (the 306) and gently tried to pull off the cover. No go.
Attached it to a an ego battery, gently tried to pull off the cover (side to side, wiggle wiggle). No go.
Put it on a dead battery, screwed it in very solidly, some more slowly, slowly catchy monkey. Starts to "give"....OK, almost there.....then NOOOOOOO I can see 2 bloomin wires and all sorts going on! and the atomiser is still in the flippin' sheath.

w.t.h?

I'm guessing it's stuck in there and now also broken?

Can anyone think of a way to make a dripper from anything in my vape box? (Cartos and clearos)....

I hope I can send it back regardless of the "disclaimer"..... ???

take a spare drip tip and you might be able to try other peoples out ...

I'm no expert as I only ever bought one 306 atomiser.

It came with a condom on and a 'blank' cartridge fitted, when I pulled it out I was left with what resembled half of a 510 carto with a couple of wires in the bottom, worked perfectly.

Tell me more. You don't happen to remember which make it was?

I'm worried, that if I pull, the main body will just stay in the condom and the base will stay in my battery....

Hehe, there's always hope!

You should end up with what seems like half an empty carto on your battery and an empty cartridge in the other hand.

They are only a push fit into the atomiser though so I don't know about all this pulling and swearing lark!

I tried to make a dripper out of an empty carto by pulling the stuffing out and cutting the case in half with my Dremel but I broke the wires and gave up. As far as I know it's essentialy the same thing.

We do.

I'm google-ing like mad and getting nowhere. Normally, just pull off the cover. Leaving a chrome "tube" attached to a 510 base.

Trouble is, the chrome tube isn't attached to the base.....it's stuck in the cover (without the base.... )

anyway, I got cross about it, and decided to take a hacksaw to the cover and rescue the outer metal shell/casing of the atty.

Then, all became clear. The metal tube/casing, had a hairline crack in it (manufacturing fault or damaged in transit before it reached the vendor, I guess). It was well protected from Vendor to me (jiffy etc.).

So, I've slipped the cover over the atty, stuck on a 306 drip tip and vaped it. Rubbish.

DOA? Who knows. It's not dead but it was broken and it doesn't vape properly. Pity.

Fubar! What make is it?

Reckon it was the screwing tight into the dead batt that did it? Those covers are usually very snug

It could be screwing it into a dead battery, but I tried it first screwed normal "torque" into a regular 510 fitting.

Oh well, I'll ask for another, nothing to lose.

(Maybe they could remove the wrapper, pop out the atty and send it to me ready-loosened)....just to prove it can be done.

Oh well, at least we know should it happen to anybody else.
