Hi again,
I thought rather than keep on describing what it is i'm now vaping with i'd try and put some pics on so you can see it for yourselves.
I hope this is the right area to do this.

I do realise that i'm starting to sound a bit self obsessed and maybe a bit flash. I'm not really like that (honestly).

Seems like all i go on about is blah blah xp900. blah blah xp900.

I promise faithfully that this will be last time i ever mention it.

Is there a thread where everyone has posted up pics of their fav e cig ?

If not i would love to see what you're all using and here might be a good place to show it (unless you want to show in your own thread).

If there is a thread, with pics, of everyones kit ? Could someone point in the direction of it please ?

I can't see any pics but a quick search on google shows Riva type of e cig. Is that what you have?

Oh gawd, here i go again. Talking to myself in my own threads..

It would appear that i have somewhat over estimated my computer skills.

The picture i meant to show is 1.2 mb. And i think there is a limit of attatchment size thats just a little lower than that. 1.024 i think.

Being resourceful i thought ah ha ! I'll compress it. But it hasn't come out.

Any tips on how i can post up my pic would be appreciated.

It may well be impossible (now theres a challenge). I do have another camera that has less pixels if that is the problem.

Could i ask that if anyone can help that they explain it to me as though they were explaining it to someone under 12 years old. Actually make that 9 (just to be safe)

Yes Lee, you are right, it's a Riva clone made by Smoore that uses a 301 atomiser.

Del, do you have any programme at all on your PC where you cam reduce the size of your pic? Microsoft picture manager for instance? Or do you have a photobucket account?

I would think i do have picture manager....i have a lap top and it has windows vista.

I been twitting all morning taking photos and trying to work out how to get them posted up ....but lee's photo is exactly what i have.

I do have a photobucket account but haven't used since last year. I now forget how to use it bit i'll refresh myself with it and use it again at some point.

If my xp 900 is the same (apart from the atty) as the riva 510 then jeeez that was some tool.
I know a lot of people rate them (riva) very highly. It seems to have been the benchmark step up kit (from mini cigs).
Obviously people have gone on to much bigger and better things. But what a superb starting point if you were to get one of these first.

Do people have photos of their kit anywhere i can have a look ?

e liquid........the thickness of the liquid would have quite a bearing on how it vapes i think. How do you get that right ?
Only the e liquid i bought (24mg) seems to be slightly thicker than what was in the pre-filled cartridge that came with my XP.
I don't think i need such high mgs. Or maybe i do just for a little while longer. How would i dilute it down a bit. Like, what would i mix in with it ?

As i write this the battery is still going strong. 24 hours now.

You can use VG from Boots, £1.69 for 200ml to mix it down a bit, although the VG is quite thick itself. This will take the nic content down but it also weakens any flavour. You can buy flavour concentrates to boost the flavour back up. Also you can add water/alcohol(Vodka) to thin it.

You are best off using an e juice calculator to do this to make sure you get it right.

Also to post a photo from Photobucket copy the link with the code and paste it in your comment. If you need a photo editor I can recommend GIMP, it's a free download and is a similar thing to photoshop except it's totally free. If you or anyone else gets it and needs help with it just PM me as I use it a lot and know my way round it.

Del, I'm fairly certain we do have an old thread with pics of every ones e-cigs in it but can't find it. So lets post them here.

Here is a pic of my Riva 510 - in the pic I'm using it with an adapter & my favourite attie - the LR901 plus a drip tip.

My very first e-cig that I bought in early July 2008 was a Super-mini RN4081, very similar to the Health-e that you bought Del. Lol there was very little choice though back then. -


Next, I bought a DSE901 & here is a pic of it next to the first big battery mod I bought - the Screwdriver -


These days, I just use my GG Grant - (pic shows it with a black des901 below it)

Here's what I've been using. I started on the super mini but have been using the Tornado with cartomisers since I aquired it from Hifistud.

The change from the super mini to the Tornado was fantastic. Much, much better experience. Because of that I'm finding it really easy not to go back to real cigs.

I've also just ordered a Riva from James which should come tomorrow, can't wait!

I'm sure someone will post a pic soon of a GGTS to sicken me, which is my ultimate desire. (I see Chrissie already did!)

Lee very nice looking tornado there. I think my wife would like something more like that (with the flatter mouthpiece). Shes not so keen on the hard round cartridges.

If your riva is like my one (though i know mine is a copy) you will really enjoy it. I'm able to vape much more relaxed now without watching with dread for my lit up end to start flashing.

I don't think you will find much difference between your Tornado & the Riva. Not sure if you know that the Tornado is just TW's re-branding of the eGo & the Riva is an eGo clone.
