There's a big difference between different juice vendors as to the flavour they put in. Many devices don't deliver flavour that well, most clearos don't do a great job. Try a 306 dripping atty, thats the cheapest way to get the most flavour output from your gear.
If you switch flavours a bit this helps as you don't get accustomed to them. I've found my taste improved around about 2 months after stopping smoking. They've always been ok though. One of the biggest differences for me has been improving my gear.
Also your taste buds decline as you age, smoker or not, this plays a part. That's why stuff you hated as a child you can eat now.

Well to answer my own question it seems water is best. Got this off Wiki:-
'Sodas, iced tea, coffee, and other drinks that contain caffeine are second best to good old-fashioned water when you're trying to stay hydrated. "They act as diuretics, so even if you're getting water, you're also pulling a little extra fluid from your body because of the caffeine.'
Also sports drinks are good too apparently.

Nah, that's a total myth: www.snopes.com/medical/myths/8glasses.asp

I agree with that jen, i have to drink around 2L of water a day due to feeling thirsty all the time and suffering with massive kidney stones, my brother is the same, drinks loads all day long yet my other half hardly drinks any fluid during the day and does not suffer any problems from it.
Def different depending on the person.
