Defies belief, 1 that they were smoking, and 2 that they had to divert the plane, personally I'd have rather put up with a bit of smoke than missed a day of my holls.

If the airline is feeling vindictive, the family could be sued for all the costs involved. That gets expensive, rapidly.

If they'd been vaping I very much doubt the actions would have been any different. Most airlines treat vaping as smoking I believe.

My husband lived and worked in Bermuda for several years. I can think of far worse places to spend an overnight stay. In fact i would treat as a bonus!

Prosecutors decided not to proceed further with the charges, so in the end, no one was found guilty of smoking on the plane
