Zmax Wattage

The Co-op Zmax is the first variable wattage device I have ever had and I am struggling to find a wattage setting that will give me a vape where the taste is all it should be.

So far I have been vaping at 6w and although I am impressed with the vapour etc, I am not getting much in the way of taste.

Any suggestions?

Lobey 6w sounds a little low foe best impact. I have settled on around 7.5, 8
Take it up in 0.5 increments, an hour or so at each stop, until you find what you're looking for

1.3 ohms coil and 7.5 watts
!.7 ohms coil and 8.5 watts for me

8 watts was my sweet spot on vamo & sigmax, still 8 watts but now use Kick

I use mine at about 9 or 10 watts depending on the juice but the beauty of the zmax is it being so easy to drop of raise the wattage.

The great thing about watts is that ohms and volts don't matter. Once you find your preferred wattage setting on the zmax it doesn't matter what atty you stick on it, the vape will be consistent

Hi Lobey.

I use this as a starting place for matching volts to resistance.

You can fill in watts instead, or play around with it and see what it tells you.

I try to get 7 watts as a starter.

As you have a fancy device, stick it on 7 and see how you feel.

I tried Jeff Cs Vamo, and set it to 8 and then attached a clearo and let it do the rest.

Clever stuff. I'll get one if I have any money left come Wednesday night....

Thanks guys. I am basicly trying new flavours tonight and so I am using clearos just.

Maybe it is just my tastebuds, but nothing seems to taste what I was expecting.

Still, as onedayillquit says, I will just keep sticking on another 1/2w increment and see what happens.

9.5 for me ... dont know really why.. just instinctive.

That is good that I now know that some of you are vaping much higher than I have tried so far.

Now I am no so bothered if I go higher.

it depends on what atty your using realy, vivi novas about 8 watts 7.5, unless your using a double wick then you can take it higher, a double coil ive been vaping at ten watts but the vape is to much after about ten mins I start going dizzie, to much nic intake

For scientific purposes I just tried 6w and I can convey that it was very poor.I can liken it to a dead battery on an ego-T( not being derogatory to anyone using it at 6w and liking it)

Well I am up at 8.5w tonight and it hasn't blown the back of my throat off yet. Right enough, I am vaping a home brew tobacco flavour that is mild and sweet anyway.

I will use it tomorrow all day and see how I get on.
